Hiram (or Harm) Amman b. 19 Nov. 1841, d. 18 May 1886
Hester Zwijnenburg b. 24 Aug 1841, d. 03 Feb 1913
They were married on 28 Nov. 1874 in South Holland, Illinois, which is also were they both died.

Children:
John Ammon (became the more common spelling) b. 05 Nov 1875, d. 20 Oct 1930 (My great grandfather.) Married Alice Witvoet b. 04 Dec 1876, d.) 28 Feb 1911 married on 16 Nov 1899

Jane Amman b. 2 Nov 1877, d. 25 Jan 1920. Married Lamburtis (Bert) Witvoet (Alice's brother) b 26 Mar 1871, d 02 Feb 1956. Married on 29 Nov 1898. Both died in Illinois.

Alice Amman b 30 Jun 1880, d. 07 Apr 1950. Married Anthony Polasky b 13 Jun 1874, d. 13 Nov 1943. Married and died in South Holland, Illinois.

Hester Zwijnenburg was my great great grandmother. (My mother's maiden name is Ammon, which is what John changed it to.) I have not been to the cemetery, but I have some written notes from a relative who had:

"The Zwijnenburg, Amman, Witvoet, and Polaskey plots are along the cyclone fence on the south-east corner of the cemetery. Location was obtained by a map obtained by the cemetery, however, not all the dates were very clear and not all the headstones line up with the map."

Hesters father (Pieter or Peter) was a brother of my grand-grand father and I was looking on internet for the tombstones of te Homewood memorial Garden in Homewood, Cook County,(old dutch section no 15)
There must be a tombstone of the Amman family, who can help me?

Have a Great Uncle who's daughter was Marcia Patton, she married a man ( surname Amman ) and had a daughter named Teresa Apple Amman.
According to Marcia's mothers obituary they were at the time of her death living in Canada. I have gone to Canada and find no record of them.
I am hopeful that the family moved back state side .

My great-great grandmother was Josepha Amman of Lauerz, Schwyz, Switzerland. She was married to Gottfried Fassbind. They had a large family; two of their children, Gottfried and Anna, emigrated to Tillamook, Oregon, USA. Anna (my great-grandmother) married George Anton Betschart (Lunza Schutzenhaus) from Mutotathal, Schwyz. Any help with Josepha's ancestors would be appreciated. :)

I found these following name in my granparent's family bible after their death. I've asked some of the older living relatives and they don't seem to know who she was. I'd like to fit her into the family tree, if she belongs, but don't seem to know how she is related or not related.
