I'm glad the book has arrived safely.
If you have problems with the translation, you should but please email me, I am willing to help you with it.
Another question, I got the pedigree of the family Amman and pictures do not download, but must first pay $ 12. Is it possible that you know me by e-mail forward? Then I can make my family complete

Keep in Touch!
Aart Zwijnenburg

Hester Zwijnenburg was my great great grandmother. (My mother's maiden name is Ammon, which is what John changed it to.) I have not been to the cemetery, but I have some written notes from a relative who had:

"The Zwijnenburg, Amman, Witvoet, and Polaskey plots are along the cyclone fence on the south-east corner of the cemetery. Location was obtained by a map obtained by the cemetery, however, not all the dates were very clear and not all the headstones line up with the map."

Hope this helps! I would love to hear what you find.

D. Highhouse

Hi. My great grandmother was Margaret Amman of Philadelphia. Her parents were John Amman and Mary Meschler both of whom came over from Switzerland. She had siblings, Leon, Solina, and Sophia Amman all whom at one time lived in a orphanage in Philadelphia.

If anyone has any information on the Amman family, please feel free to contact me at Its4melanie@aol.com

Thanks!

Melanie Jones
