NEWBERG, OREGON - Beatrice Ann “Bebe” Amon, 89, formerly of Youngstown, passed away Oct. 20, 2012, at the home of her niece, Patricia Ridenour, in Newberg.
Miss Amon, known affectionately to many as “Bebe,” was born March 26, 1923, in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Theresa Geidner Amon.
She worked most of her life in the banking business and enjoyed traveling to visit her family.
Bebe was a member of St. Brendan Church in Youngstown
Bebe leaves her nieces, Kathy Amon McCabe of Largo, Fla., Karen Kale Nakayama of Mesa, Ariz., Pamela Kale Christofferson of Phoenix, Dianne Kale Stillion and Patricia Kale Ridenour, both of Newberg; and her nephews, Robert Amon of Largo Fla., Paul Amon Jr. of Duluth, Ga., Jerry Kale of Roseburg, Ore., Thomas Kale of Lakeside, Calif., and Joseph Kale of Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Mae Amon and Dorothy Amon Kale, and her brother, Paul Amon, Sr.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, in Youngstown, OH.
Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, and continue at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brendan Church, 2800 Oakwood Ave.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
