Yes,my g grandfather was Arthur George Ponton Amor base born son of Eliza. So some census have him as Arthur and others as George. I have found lots of mistakes in census records.He moved to Whitchurch and married Emma Walborne and then to Hawkchurch. My grandfather(Francis Charles then immigrated to Canada in 1904and received a land grant for 160 acres in Saskatchewan and then sent money for passage for this parents and all his sibling in 1912 to immigrate.
