Dear Lynne, Hi. No I am from sunny Queensland in Australia! My paternal grandmother's grandparents were William AMOR and Anne Priscilla WHEELER. It is this couple that emigrated to Australia on the sailing ship "Beejapore" nicknamed the Bee for obvious reasons. The were only newly married also. The 'Beejapore' arrived Botany Bay NSW 14 Mar 1857. The journey usually took about 9 months from England.

How can I find you on GR? What is a significant ancestor in your tree that others haven't copied? Name, surname, year of birth and where born?

Regards,
Alison.
