David was a physician and I know that his father was too. His son was Harold Lindsay Amoss, also a physician, who was born in Cobb but resided in Greenich, Conn, he died in 1956.</description>

      <description>first how sure are you it being a double s&lt;br&gt;spelling?&lt;br&gt;We have a William Amos in our family line,and was 10 years old in 1880 census for Camp Co. Texas. We have no further mention of him in our records.Could have moved to Houston area but dont know. We have accounted for all of his generation except for him. AND if they are same person then we have accounted for the family back to Revolutionary War.</description>
