My Grandfather (R. E. Amrhein Sr.) told me that in Germany, Valentine was a Baron under Kaiser, he was well off. Valentine and Kaiser had a disagreement, Valentine was lowered to a common person. In 1870 Valentine and Mary landed in the Port of Port Hudson.
