Hello - I'm glad that you sent me this information and I am oh so sorry that it has taken me almost a year to reply. This is what I know: Martin Brueck; Martin was the son of Christ Brueck and Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Ahrens. Lizzie was a Sister to my Husbands Grandfather. Heinrich and Mary (Seffel) Ahrens had 7 children. Henry b.1871, George b. 1873, Fred b. 1875, Louis b. 1877, Minnie b. 1880, Lizzie b. 1884, Mary b. 1886, William b. 1889, and (my husbands Grandfather) Carl b. 1891. While looking at your Tree I noticed that you might have two different Ahrens family inter-twined. When the father Henry came to america he was 11 years old and he was with his family on the ship 'OTHYEN' the year was 1854 and they arrived at the Port of New York (Castle Garden). Besides the parents Henry and Caroline (Hille) Ahrens there were 7 children. Caroline b. 1835, Wilhelmia b. 1837 m. Weber, Fred'ka b. 1840 m. Foster, Heinrich b. 1843 m. Seffel, Louisa b. 1848 m. Berning, Melosine b. 1851 m. Etzold and Doris b. 1852 m. Hanz,m. Brouwer, m. Boomershine. So....Martin Brueck is a 1st cousin 1x removed to my husband
