      <title>surname search</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.amway/5.220/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am doing research of the life of Dr. John Arnway, of an old Shropshire family. He was rector of St. Luke's Church in Hodnet and became Archdeacon of Litchfield Cathedral. He supported the King during the civil war and was forced, penniless, into exile in Holland. He eventually accepted an appointment to the colony in Virginia and died there in 1656. If you want to know more please e-mail me. In America it was quite common for surname spellings to change and an "RN" to "M" substitution does not seem unreasonable. If this is helpful please contact me.</description>
