Patricia is probably a direct descendant of Philippe Amyot and his wife whose maiden name was Anne Convent. They sailed (with their 2 young sons Jean and Mathieu) in may 1635, from Normandy to Beauport, Quebec and are recognized among the first colonists to permantly settle New France (Canada). Like myself, Patricia would come through the line of Mathieu. Can you give me anything on the Vital statistics on her father, grandfather, and great grandfather? It may take me some time, but perhaps I can help. This is a very interesting family as are many of their descendants.
