I am searching for information on Amable's parents. We know that he lived in Huntingdon, Québec; in New York, USA, in River Valley, Ontario. He was married to Délia Bisson, from Cornwall, Ontario. They had 9 children, some of whom lived in Huntingdon, Québec and others in River Valley, Ontario. Their names: Albert, Alexander, George, Martelle, Richard (Régis) Jane, Henri, Florence and Cedey (Sara Sadie)
I am also looking for information on Délia's family also.

My great great grandfather was Francois Amyotte and he was a brother to Jean-Baptiste. I have this information from my research:

Jean-Baptiste Amyotte, born Jul 1848; married Marie Dupuis 26 Nov 1867; born Nov 1848.

I don't think this is the same family.
The children of my Francis & Jane were Franklin born 1859,
Albert and Gilbert, twins, born 1861, Louisa born 1865, Eddie and Addie, twins, born1868,Jennie born 1872, and Sophronia born
about 1873.

I am pretty sure that Laconia is in New Hampshire.

My Francis Gilbert and Jane Ameyette always lived in
Franklin, NY.

Have you tried the Gen Web in New Hampshire?

I am looking for Amyotte information. My husband's great grandmother was
named Mary Jane Irene Amyotte and was born around 1880, maybe in Michigan.
She had at least one brother and one sister, Jack (Jacques?) and
Cecilia. She married Richard Phillpotts in the late 1890's and they had four
children, Josephine (5-9-1898), Grace (12-15-1904), Earl (abt 1906), and
George (dob unk). Is any of this related to anyone's Amyotte/Amiott information?

I will get some names to you, I am the grandaughter of Charles Phillpotts. Earl and Charles were cousins. Walter Phillpotts was my great grandfather and Harry was my great great Grandfather. I will get you some more information from my parents.

Linda, I would be very interested in any Phillpotts info you might have. I have the 1930 US census page showing George and Earl living with Maurice Turner and Josephine, with the Koth and Turner children. George Turner, Maurice and Josephine's son, is my father-in-law.

George was my BM's first husband, they had a son Richard. Do you know anything about him or where he might be. I would like to meet him or know if he is still alive. I have been doing this 10 years and just now getting to the end. George's wife Ann Queava married after George died (don't know the date, do you) to a Charles (Chuck) Tremlin. They had no children. I have a death certificate for Mary Jane Amyotte Phillpotts she was born in Bay City Michigan. Her parents are John Amyotte Ontario Canada and the mother is Sophhia Papiau sp(?). Canada. She died 7-2-1936. She was married to Richard Phillpotts, who is my great grandfather's brother.

That was my aunt Jenny. We can go back 2 generations with Amyotte and lose it in Canada. Her mother as a pappineau and we can get into Canada, but cannot determine which family she came from, there are too many with the same name. John

Are we talking about the same George Phillpotts, 1st wife Olive Berthiaume, divorced. 2nd wife Ann Marie Queava. Don't know what he died of. George and Ann has a son, Richard Phillpotts, but can not seem to locate him. After George died she (Ann) married a Charles (Chuck Tremlin). They lived in Flint. Now who is the Turners he was staying with? Is this some friends or kin down the line?

Well, he was not married to her in 1930, since he was living with the Turner's then. Did you happen to find out WHY he died? What MI genealogy places are you looking at?

I just found out George died 1-21-1941. I still don't know when they got married but I have a friend who is going to find out for me as I don't live in MI anymore and so can't get in the MI genealogy places without a MI drivers license. I will let you know. Who knows we might be distant kin!

Hi Linda, and thanks. I just had found Earl on the SSN death records right before I got this reply. I am still looking for George. Who did Earl marry?? When did your BM ( I assume you mean birth mother?) marry Charles Tremlin? That might narrow down the dates for George's death.

I don't know much about the Amyottes but will help. Earl Phillpotts was b. 11/8/1908 d. july 1984
Mount Morris, Mi his daughter Jean is still living I have talked to her.
Don't know when George died but would like help on this as he is my BM's lst husband. Her second husband was Charles Tremlin
