I will mail Ray's sister (my aunt) in Rayne La. and get her to pass the message to Ray. If he can get you his telephone number via this message board I am sure he will want to speak to you guys.

OH !! absolutely wonderful !!. Your uncle and my husband were army buddies at Fort Polk, La. in the mid 1970's. He went with us "back home" to New Orleans a few times. He was a wonderful friend to me and taught our oldest son to speak French before English....they were buds. Tell your uncle this is Barbara and Chris Bruney,,we now live in Sevierville, Tn. have 2 grown sons and 3 g'kids...i did not know I would have to go to England first and then go back to La. to find him...Thanks Bunches...

Hi, saw you message on Ancestry web site. Ray is my uncle and still living in Crowley Louisiana after leaving the army. Saw him on last visit I made to America in 2007 and my father saw him on visit home from England in March this year. Please drop me a mail and I will froward onto his sister Irene in Rayne La. as Ray does not have a computer. Hope to hear from you soon.

I am looking for the RAY ANCELET who was in the military in 1976 stationed at FORT POLK. The ones looking for you are CHRIS AND BARBARA BRUNEY. We were from New Orleans, and you often took trips with us. We saw a movie and your name was listed as THE RAY ANCELET BAND.
