I am researching Hulda Pahre Andreas, Harry's mother. Hulda was born April 22, 1861 in Jasper County, Iowa and married Harry's father Herman/Harman at the age of 18, per Jasper County Marriage Roster Vol II. Herman Andreas was 32 at the time of the marriage and his name was spelled Andrews on the roster. I found the family, Harman, Hulda and Harry on the 1880 Federal Census and from there I have come to a brick wall. Any help would be appreciate.

I am looking for information on Harry's mother Hulda Pahre Andreas. She was born in Iowa April 22, 1861 and at the age of 18 married Herman/Harman Andreas who was 32 at the time of their marriage. The Jasper County, Iowa Marriage roster shows his name as Andews. If you have any information you would care to share, it would be appreciated.

I'm looking for info on my great gradfather; Edwin F. Burge. I think he as born in MO, but later moved to Nebraska. He was botn June 23, 1873. He married a woman named Eliza. Unsure of her maiden name. Upon the death of Eliza, Edwin re-married. Her name was Harriet J. (perhaps Jane??) Bowers. Harriet was born in Missouri. Harriry's father was Marion Bowers. In 1880, Edwins' home was in Bigelow, Holt County, MO. His fathers' name was James Burge. James was from Indiana. Edwin's mom's name was Sara A. (Ann??) Rickers? Srara was from TN. Edwin had the following children;
Lester, Raymond, James, Glenn, Edwin, Buster and my grandfather, Stanford Marion Burge. ANY info on my grandparents would be appreciated!

Harry Fred Andreas (1878-1966) married Anna Duffy (1883) in Spirit Lake, Iowa. They lived there for years but are found in 1920 in Middletown Twnshp, Jackson Co., MN. Harry farmed in Iowa and Minnesota. By 1930 he was working int he auto industry and they live din Detroit, MI. Harry and Anna had three children:
Willie Andreas (1904-1905)
Clarence Andreas (1907 IA- ?) May have been known as "Andress"
Thelma Andreas (1912 IA- ? ) Thelma may have married a man with the last name of Crowe and had one daughter. Please contact me if you can help with more information.

Reference your query concerning Conrad and Catherine Andreas. I have a Conrad and Catherine in my line but no evidence that they were in Illinois. They came from Germany in 1862, settled first in Ohio and then to Michigan. Conrad remarried and died in Michigan in 1901.
I suppose its possible that they spent some time in Illinois. If you want more info, I'll be happy to furnish it.

I read your post about Philip as well as the reply post about a son named Fred who was born in 1870....if I remember it correctly. I'm up against a small hill and thought with an unusual name as Andreas along with the location of Muskegon, Michigan that you may have come across an "Andres" that married Eva Graham in or around Oceana County, Michigan. A lot of folks from Oceana married in Muskegon county..that's the connection in location. Anyway, have you any Eva Graham in your records? Thanks.

Hello! I saw your post and did some checking into the US Genweb project and found Phillip and Ellen and son Fred in Muskegon in 1870. Fred is listed as age 3 and born in MI, Ellen age 28 and born in NY, Phillip is 37 and born in NY and listed as a farmer. Hope this helps you! Please feel free with any questions you may have

Looking for Christian Andreas. He was born in Niederdunzebach, Prussia on 14 Jul 1830. He married Anna Maria Schmidt and had six children: Catharina b. 17 Aug 1854, Johann Peter b. 05 Jul 1859, Henry b. 02 Jul 1861, Carl Otto b. 25 Jul 1863. The other two children were boys born after they arrived in America but I don't know their names. Also, Christian's parents were Conrad and Annie. Unfortunately no. There are only two Christians that I have in my Andreas branch. One was born in 1830 in Prussia and married to Anna Maria "Mary" Schmidt. The other was there son, born in 1865 and died as an infant. I do hope we can find a connection though! Good Luck!

His son Vincent Bernard Andreas is my great-great grandfather, and his son Vincent Bernard Andreas the second is my great grandfather, his daughter Natalie Ann Andreas (now Steinkamp) is my grandmother and her daughter Andrea Ann Smith (now Tomlinson) is my mom. Rickie Bruce Andreas of Woodland died Jan. 26, 2005. He was 36.

A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Woodland United Fellowship, 230 N. West St. in Woodland.

Born July 8, 1968, in Washington state, he worked as a construction framer and loved to swing a hammer. He was described as a friendly, caring and compassionate person. He volunteered his time to help others. He enjoyed cooking, being with his family and spending time outdoors along the river. He was a man of great faith and struggled to live his life in obedience.

He is survived by his fiancée, Cynthia Bolding, and her children, Jeremy, Kevin, Codie and Miranda, all of Woodland.

I have a Katharina Andrea who married Johann Peter Mampel. This information is from a very old family tree from Heidelberg Germany, exact age of this document is unknown, however it can to our family from the mampel side which came to the us approx 1840. My mother's dad was Herman May Andreas. My mother's name was Virginia Lee Andreas. She married Thomas Noble White. When I was growing up, your parents Bus and Madge came to visit my parents in Ruidoso. I would like to get back on track with the Andreas family search.

My mom died about a month ago. Since then, I have been going through some old pictures. Perhaps, you can help me identify who some of the people are?

I was delighted to see your message. I have aleady replied once to, but for some reason the message seems to have disappeared.

I am a descendant of Herman May Andreas who was the son of August Andreas and Annie May. August Andreas was my great grandfather.

When I was growing up, my mom would take us to El Paso during summer vacation. I remember going to Uncle Vincent and Aunt Elizabeth's on Upson Avenue, many times. I also would go to the Andreas garage downtown to visit with Uncle Vincent and Uncle Johnny.

My mother's father was Herman May Andreas. He was born in Silver City, New Mexico. His famiy moved to El Paso, Texas. His parents were August Andreas and Annie E. May. His brothers were Godfrey, Vincent, and John. Vincent was not the only one that had children.
I am trying to trace the Andreas, May, and Rohman lines back from August and Annie E. I know that August was from Wittenberg, Germany.

My ggggrandmother Della S Andreas <Apr 30, 1874 in IL> was the daughter of John Andreas <Aug 10, 1853 in IL> and Ellen A Hillman <1855 in IL> John was the son of Paul Andreas <Aug 27, 1814 in PA> and Mary Nelson <1817 in PA> *This information have been verified by census records.

Paul is listed in many family trees as being the son of John Andreas and Elizabeth Rex. However, the problem is that sometimes John Andreas is listed as the son of Jacob Andreas and Sarah Washburn born Jan 19, 1789 in PA; and other times he is listed as the son of Martin Andreas Jr. and Anna Maria Reber born May 13, 1790 in PA. The problem becomes more difficult in that both sets of information are documented by conflictind sources. I thought maybe they were the same person, but I have verified through baptism records that they are actually cousins. Jacob and Martin are both the sons of Martin Andreas Sr. and Anna Elisabeth Vautrin(Wotring). Does anyone have or know where I can get marriage record for Elizabeth Rex and John Andreas?

I have hit a road block!! I found that Elisabeth Rex is listed as Married to John Andreas. However, depending on which record you look at the birthdate and Parents given are different. I thought that they might be the same person, but I have found that they are indeed two people, infact they are cousins. My problem is that only one of them married Elisabeth Rex in Lehigh Station. Which ever one it was had a son Paul who married an Eliza McCoy. Can anyone verify records?

I too have connections to this line. I need help though. I have traced my genealogy back to John andreas, which is either a nephew or a son. My gggrandmother was Della S. Andreas dau of John Andreas <1853> OH, and Ellen A Hillman <1855> IL. John was the son of Paul Andreas <1813> PA and Eliza McCoy <1817> PA (*1870 Census) Paul was the son of John Andreas (<Jan 19, 1789> PA son of Jacob and Sarah Washburn) or John Andreas (<May 13, 1790> PA son of Martin and Anna Maria Reber) John and Martin were brothers, and I found both Johns on chruch records, so I know they both exist. The problem is that I have found an equal number of records that show both of them married to Elisabeth Rex of Lehigh, PA. Do you have any records?
