Hello Cuz,
I have the connection for you--Mrs. Gasbarro (Andreoozzi) came to this country and lived in Barrington she brought over one sister Rose and her two brothers John who had 11 children and my grandfather Domede who had 13 children however two died of influenca. Both John and Domiede moved to Providence, RI--it was the Gasbarro family who had the liquor distributorship with Budwiser and Narragansett Beer before and after prohibition.....The Andreozzi family were prominent business owner's of restaurants, catering services, bakeries and grocery stores--they were loved for their kindness and generosity to mankind.
I am putting together a family tree--of the Andreozzi's who lived in Mount Pleasent section of Providence RI. Domeide and Anita Lombardi-Andreozzi who lived on Health Avenue, Providence, RI during the 20's, 30's and 40's. My dad Guido played football for Mount Pleasant High School during 1940-1941 season he was the quarterback....he served his country proudly with the US Navy during WWII. He was in the invastion of Normady leanding on Omaha Beach....would love to hear from anyone who knew him or any of his seven bothers Gene, Al, Champ-Sausio, Joe, Rico Junior-Fausto and Franky. There were four sisters Jenny, Ida, Anna, and Mary. There was a cousin who lived in West Virginia....
My "Andreozzi's" are also from Falvaterra. My Great Great Grandparents were Guiseppe and Colomba Andreozzi. They came to America in 1910 and settled in Barrington Rhode Island. Unfortunately, i do not know much about this part of the family yet.

Andreozzi surname - Philadelphia or Barrington, Rhode Island

My "Andreozzi's" are from Falvaterra Italy. My great grandmother arrived in Philadelphia around 1910 to meet one of her cousins. She had cousins in both Philadelphia and in Barrington, Rhode Island. I know there are way too many Andreozzi's in Rhode Island to even attempt to find a connection, but I know that her relatives owned or were associated with the Narragansatt Brewery. If this connection rings a bell to any of you, please drop me a line.

We're related.
Your Grandmother, Ann Gaudio Anderozzi, is my Aunt. She is still alive and doing well back in Follansbee. I left Follansbee after getting my college Degree to get a job in the Aerospace Industry. I haven't seen her for a couple years but can easily get in touch.
e-mail me at Gaudiotree@aol.com or anthonygaudio@lycos.com for more.

Anthony
