My grandfather was Joseph W. Andry. His father was Edgar J. Andry, His father was Hortaire Michel Andry. Today I found that his father was Michel Hortaire Andry. One of these Hortaires lived on a plantation in La Place, LA where the 1811 slave uprising occurred. Based on dates I think it was Michel Hortaire. I believe he had several brothers and their father was Louis Andry. I have no other information on any other Andrys. Maybe what I have here will help you in some way.
