Champlain — Lezina M. Anemaet, 83, died Monday, May 15, 2000, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Mooers Forks on Sept. 13, 1916, the daughter of Henry and Rosina (Longtin) Meseck.
She worked at St. Mary's School cafeteria for several years and later was employed at Delagar in Rouses Point. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Champlain.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Anemaet of Pinckney, Mich.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia and Ronald Ashline of Champlain and Brenda Mallaber and her companion Frank Sipos of Wallsworth; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Geraldine Meseck of Plattsburgh and Fred and Frances Meseck of Burlington, Vt.; three sisters, Rose Burdo of Mooers Forks, Lena Trombley of Plattsburgh and Vatilda Rettinger of West Chazy; four sisters-in-law, Jeannette Meseck of Mooers Forks, Anna Meseck of Mooers Forks, Marie Meseck of Champlain and Helen Meseck of San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, John R. Anemaet, died in 1974. Four brothers, James, Napolean, Clifford and Noah Meseck and a sister, Elsie Moore, also died earlier.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday from St. Mary's Church in Champlain. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country.
The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers is in charge of arrangements.
