Hmmmmmm...........very interesting.............

Having had these posts brought to me attention by my son, I can confirm (for all the good it might do), my father many years ago when I was not much more than a kid, told me that our family had mounted a court case to claim the "Angell Millions" - a case that involved property held in chancery located in (?)Brixton/SE London (which is not a million miles from Thornton Heath), that failed -as he told me - through lost/missing documents proving the line of hereditary entitlement. Being so young, I just thought 'yeah, yeah, yeah - as you do at 10-12 years of age!

When the case was heard, I do not know - but note with interest from the above, it could have been during the 18th Century. This could well be the case, as I understand the link runs through Dorothy Jordan and her association with William 1V. Her family name was Bland, and Constance Bland was my father's cousin. So I am sure that there is a genuine claim that could be lodged by my family, but of course the issue is to prove it.

In these days of DNA testing, if anyone can make and prove the connection, I would willingly cut them in on a %'age of the profits.

Maybe I won't hold my breath..............but you never know...........!!
