The family is referenced in the 1901 census as living on Ladywell Road in Motherwell Scotland - David is a Railway Engineer. The family moved to Canada in or about 1910 and settled in Toronto, Ontario - listed as living at 38 Silver street. Isabella is the daughter of William McNab & Catherine. In Toronto they may have been grocers or store owners. Son John worked as a printer in Toronto and then joined WW1 (Underage)and later was an RCMP officer in Ottawa (married Viola Gardiner from Cantley Quebec and they had 13 children).
