I'm a descendant of the German Ansel family that came in the 1700s and lived in Virginia and Pennsylvania. There is a lot of confusing undocumented information floating around and I'm trying to research my line. My line goes down to an Isaac Ansel and his wife Malinda ?? who had a daughter named Mary Lucinda Ansel who married Henry Cossel in 1877. Any Ansel information that may be part of this line at any generation is of interest to me.
