Hi, Your Martha Anson Redstone was the sister of my ggggrandmother Rebecca Anson Brooks, the daughters of William Anson. I have some doubts about their mother. I have old letters written to "Dearie" and signed "Your Auntie" ( that tells a whole lot!) Auntie tells Dearie that somewhere in the Anson line there is a "little French lady" whose name was ?? Olivette. She seems to be a distant grandmother because Auntie tells Dearie if she wishes to be more French just drop the word Great. Do you have any clues to what this might mean?? Maybe Auntie wished to be more French and maybe spelled Olivette that way instead of Olivet. I'm stuck here, can't figure out when they arrived in America or from whence they came. I do know all the children were born here and Rebecca was the oldest, born in 1791 in New York. She died in Indiana in 1872. I have all the names of Martha's and Rebecca's siblings and most of their birthdays. Hope we can help each other. Gerri
