      <description>Was told by my grandfather,manty years ago,that he believed the i i was i was told by my grandfather,he believe that the original antes came from the basque area of France,and Spain.they came to Mexico in the 15th or 16th century.these story rings true,for the name goes back to the 3rd century around the black sea area.the tribes antes,were a warring powerful tribe.in 495'on dec.31th,the antes,alans,and vandals,entered into gall,which is today Frances,and moved down into upper Spain.there is another family of antes on the east coast,but they come from Germany.still researching.today,I have family crest,showing French basque history.if anyone could add more,please let me know.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

However, I would have to ask you for details of a generation or two before the family list you have given me in order to search for a connection.  My ANTE line starts with Jose Yosodro ANTE (married Juana Maria DUIZ) parents of: Jose Candelario ANTE (married 1803-Maria Ylaria LOPEZ) parents of: Buenaventura ANTE (1800) (married 1820-Maria de los Dolores MUNOS) parents of: Fernando ANTE (married 1847-Maria de Jesus GUERRA) parents of: Jose Maria ANTE (1847); Lucio Luz ANTE (1849)(married 1868 Luisa HERNANDEZ); and Victoriana ANTE (1853).  This family lived in the Santa Barbara Area outsife Encarnacion de Dias, Jalisco.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Please let me know if you have any similar information.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Revd. Fr. Basil G.       <description>I am looking for any information on the ancestors or relatives of Gerhardt Ante. He was born in Prussia and died about 1897 in Camp Washington (Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Oh.) He married Mary or Maria Effekeman and had 4 children:&lt;br&gt;Catherine, b. 8/7/1878 d. 1932 in Cincinnati&lt;br&gt;Joseph&lt;br&gt;Antone&lt;br&gt;Harry&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Catherine married Henry J.
