I posted a msg to you on the msg board re ANTRIM book 13 June 2008, you were going to get back to me.

I have done some more research on the John ANTRIM/Sarah DOWNEY family since that time and would be more than happy to share it with you. I have also had a chance to look at "Records of the Antrim Family of America" by Harriet S. Antrim and it seems as if my John ANTRIM might possibly be the son of Thomas E ANTRIM and Anna MASON named on page 77 of the book. This is based partly on year of that John being born, the fact he was born in NJ, and my John naming his first born son Thomas Mason ANTRIM, and his second son John E ANTRIM, and his 2nd daughter Anna Louise ANTRIM. And the fact that Thomas E ANTRIM and a John ANTRIM who would fit the right age had a woman of the right age to be his wife Sarah living next to each other on the 1840 census in Upper Freehold, Monmouth, New Jersey. I have some other things that make it a possiblity also that we can discuss if you are interested.
