My Great nan was the late Elizabeth rigby, birthday the 24 may who married a Thomas John Antrobus who passed away at a young age from liverpool,
She had a son John Thomas Antrobus Who Was my grandad And A Daughter Anne Antrobus Who ltr Married a george hyam i believe,
Elizabeth also had a sister Florence Rigby who married a killgallan i believe, the area known by me from my grandad before he passed away that he moved from a young age was garston , my grandad and his mother settled in hoole chester and grandad john had a family with doris i believe their is still family about in the area and would apreciate if any one knows of any information, we have a few antrobus family around the chester and area and look forward on any contacts and information

Weber and his sister Eunice were the children of John Thomas Antrobus and Iceline Dance (Carter) Antrobus. My wife is the grand-daughter of Eunice. We recently built a house on the land where Eunice was born in Pendleton Co., KY...not sure yet if Weber was born here or not. The old farmhouse & barns are long gone, but my wife always considered this "home".
I'm going to post a series of picture you may be interested in. This first one was in a trunk that belonged to Iceline. Unfortunately, the last part was missing.

Weber Antrobus died in I beleive in 1932. He married Leona and they had four children. Clide Antrobus, Harold Antrobus, Betty Jo Antrobus and Dorothy.

Weber Antrobus was my great grandpa. He married Leona Vice Dec 23, 1917. They had four children. My father (his grandson) is the one who lives in Dekalb Co. His name is Douglas Antrobus.

I have the death of Ernest Antrobus recorded in the family Bible but I do not know why. Perhaps he was engaged to be married to someone in the family. he was born around 1889. He died on 17/11/1915 He was in the 7th Battalion of the South Lancashire regiment and his service no 12959 and he is recorded on the commonwealth war graves as being a native of Helsby Cheshire. He is the brother of William Henry Antrobus of Newfield Terrace Helsby Cheshire. I also have a photograph of Ellen Antrobus who was very beautiful. I would love to know why he is in the family Bible

My third cousin was Sir Charles Antrobus, Governor -general of St. Vincent, West Indies. We have an ancestor (Antrobus) who left Liverpool, England, and settled on St. Vincent during the 1800's. We have been in the US since 1967, we moved to Connecticut. I now reside in Arizona.

Your grandfather, Clifford, was my Father's brother. My father was Raymond Antrobus. I knew Clifford and your grandmother, Dola. I corresponded with Dola when she was in a nursing home in Indpls. I suppose that your father was named Charles who is my first cousin. That makes me your second cousin. I used to love going to your grandparents' home at Xmas. Clifford would get out the lionel train set for his boys (Charles and Philip) Even tho I was a little girl I was thrilled with this event. Aunt Dola was one of the kindest, lovely, and my favorite relative. Uncle Clifford was sort of a rogue but loveable. He was highly involved in boxing (both as a spectator and earlier a boxer). He used to have 3 or more pet Bullldogs than used to scare me silly. I am probably the oldest living relative in the Antrobus clan and I have many memories of your family. My grandpa was your great grandpa. He was also a Charles Antrobus. I was named after his Irish wife, Catherine, who was the Grandmother I never knew as she died in childbirth. He lived in South Indpls.and I think he married a woman named Addie who shared his life until death. She was a real nice person and I always called her Grandma. She always had a jar of sugar cookies for me to plunge into when I visited. I could go on with many memories but would need to know what would be of interest to you. I suppose you know that Clifford did a geneology on Antrobus family and came up with some fairly ingenious stuff.

I have a sister, Carolyn, who lives in Honolulu. I live in Doylestown, Pa.where there is (or was) a group of Antrobus's I went to their family reunion many yrs. ago and was struck with the resemblance to Raymond, Clifford, Carl, and Frank Antrobus.

I think you are off the other Antrobus family to me. if so one of your relation was killed in the world war one his name was Joseph Antrobus born in 1898 and was wounded and died on the 29th September 1918

My husband's family came from Port Sunlight in the Wirrall. His name was JOHN THOMAS ANTROBUS, born 1917, died 1990. He came from quite a large family and lost contact with them after the 2nd World War.
John moved to Staffordshire in the 1950's and his son, Phillip, and I would love to hear from any members of the family

Hello...I'm new to this and just started researching my father's family tree. I can only go to my ggrandfather. My grandfather was Perry Antrobus. He was born March 6, 1907 and died Dec 31 1994. His father's name was Frank Antrobus and was born in 1887...his wife's name was Della Kinney and she was born in 1887. That is all the info that I have ..Could anyone help me?

Looking for any info on Weber. He was married to Leona Mae Vice and was still in Pendleton Co. in 1920. His wife and at least one of his kids died in Dekalb Co., IL, so that may be where he ended up.

A most beautiful wedding took place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vice when the hearts and lives of a prominent couple plighted their troth. The contracting parties being Mr. Weber Antrobus and Miss Leona Mae Vice, daughter of the home.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Chas. Mangold. Miss Etta Bennett presided at the organ. The bride wore white organdie trimmed in shadow lace while the [remainder of article missing]

I have just found an Antrobus connection in my family. Ransom Chism married Hannah Antrobus. Ransom's mom (Lavina) second marriage was to james Antrobus. Lavina is burried in Woodbury cemetery in Greene co, IL. Is this the connection you are looking for or are we from different families?

Are you related to these people (Arthur Antrobus & Sara/Sarah Bruin?? I do have a very old picture of them. Sara/Sarah Bruin Antrobus's sister Mary Bruin was married to William N. Grayson "Willie".
