It's not clear to me how long your family has been in Chicago, but the following may interest you:
In the course of researching the murder of my great grandfather, I discovered that two other men died with him in the incident: John Alongi and Frank ANZELONE (the name is spelled slightly different from yours). All of the newspaper accounts I've found butchered Anzelone's name so badly (e.g., Gagoncolon; Gomsulus, Gonzales) that it's unlikely anybody looking for info on his death could find it. I'd be glad to share the articles and the death certificate with anyone who makes a request, and I'd appreciate any additional info that others might be able to provide.
Info from death cert.: Frank Anzelone, Laborer

Mother: Palma (?) Ciminella, Italy
