Sorry, but the connection would be very distant. Most of the Applins in America are connected back to the 3 brothers who came to America in the 1700's, however, my branch went south to Virginia, then North and South Carolina, into Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, and finally ended up in Texas. I suggest you contact Lynn Mccandless at the following address as she has so much data on the Aplins/Applins/Applings in America and is writing a book. her email address is
