I am looking for information about Aplins prior to 1851. My earliest is William Hodder Edwards Aplin, b. 1851 at Beer Crowcombe in Somerset, England.

I can also confirm that Ian Aplin was researching Aplins in the US and UK, but I too have lost contact. I do have some of his earlier notes though.
