Eight Mile Dhurch/Cemetery is located near Florala and Samson AL. There will be a reunion held there on Sun Oct. 8, 2000. come and bring a covered dish. There are 4 generations burried there. My Grandfather, Johnnie Edward Aplin 1893 to 1962 was the preacher there until his death. His father William Aplin married to Pinky Henderson is burried there. His grandfather married to a Holly is also buried there. His great grandmother Mary Bowers married to a Thomas Aplin who died somewhere in the Civil War is also burried there. We know my Grandfather's brothers and sisters but do not know brothers and sisters of his grandfather, greatgrandfather, or others.
