Sorry Daniel. I was really trying to find my brothers and sisters. I wasn't really interested in the origin of my last name, however I did find out some interesting facts. One of them was that my great-grandmother was German and I did find my siblings.

I read at the musuem exhibit held here in Atlanta that Apolinar came from the Greeks. My suggestion would be to go to the library and start there.
