Sorry it's taken so long, but I lost track. The Battin is my husband's name so there's not a connection. But my Lillian Appel was married to a Sellers -- originally Zellers, but changed during World War I to a less German-sounding name -- in Chicago. She had several children including my grandfather Willis. I believe there were Roy, Edward, Mildred and several others.
