Lucille Young I believe is the silent movie star allegedly from France and used Lucille Younge for stage name. She defiitely was a photo player and she married a Hale Day. She died August 1, 1934 in Los Angeles. It is interesting that the death of the alleged French actress, birth name of Lucia medina, died Aug. 2, 1934.
Interesting, too, that were married to Hale Day. And that Lucille Y Day in 1930 was living with my great grandmother Katherine Terry and her half sister Ethel Terry Watts, all born in Michigan.
I have photos of my Aunt Lulu and the actress and they are spitting images. And both starred in movies with Tom Mix and William Hart.
And they both showed up in California in the same year.
Most movie stars have a stage name but in this case I think that Lucille Young used her name with an e added to Younge and made up a birth name and born in romantic Lyons, France. But I cannot prove it.
