My ggf was Samuel Appelbaum (b. 1869, Russia;
d. 1954, St. Louis, MO). I am Helen's nephew
(hi Helen!). Helen, from the Hebrew translation
on his gravestone I'm pretty sure Sam's father's
name was Isaac (Itsac).

I have questionf for the rest of you. Why are
Appelbaums concentrated in Missouri and New York?

Also, I recall seeing a Morris Appelbaum in either the MO or NY fed
census returns. Have to dig out my notes to see exactly where.
