I've struggled to find this person in England past the 1891 census, however when I checked the US site on the offchance, I found someone with the same name who died in Vancouver, BC on 8th August 1958, aged 83. I had a late 1874 birth for him, so the age of death is just right. Could anyone confirm if this is actually him? I believe his birthplace was Greatham, County Durham, which is about 4 miles south of Hartlepool.
