my name is april mcelhone. I was given my mother, lillians Aprile's maiden name. My grandfather Vincenzo Aprile came to the united states from canicatti in or around 1915. He served in the armed forces and became a citizen. He married Filomena and had four children. My grandfather died in brooklyn new york in June 1975.

JOSEPH APRIL got married in 1914 (2nd) to a Leda Tremblay MATHON in Montreal area.
I now have quit a few names but would like to know if (as I suspect) they had children. and who are they. It would be great to get photos of them. She was my Grandmother.

My post on Joseph APRIL seems to given others a connection.... GOOD> I still need info on Joseph.

Another thing is my search into the April family does show AUPRIL as another spelling for this line. I have come across all these in my search. APRIL / AUPRIL / APRILE / APRILLE / . With no connection to my needs I did not enter them into. my database.

Serafina Aprile of Sicily

My great grandmother, Serafina Aprile, came to US in 1921 at age of 59 to join her children. Her children all had surname of Morina. So, after being widowed once as a Morina, it appears she must have remarried and again been widowed as Aprile Would like to find info to substantiate this. She was from Sicily, perhaps area of Agira. Any help or suggestions appreciated

Hi Donna is your father's name Jimmy. I think you mean my brother Victor. My mother's name is Catherine Jelley and Victor Hunt is my brother. I remember going to cookouts in Abington. You had a fenced in back yard with woods behind the fence. I am forwarding your email to my mom. Please email me again. I am getting in touch with other cousins on this site. Tom Aprille emailed me the other day and Frank Panetta did too. If you would like to contact them let me know. This is so cool. I am trying to find out info on my mothers mother named Lucia Raffaele. Your grandfather and my father were brothers. I used to live in Abington and know that your mom brother Victor and sister were up the house a couple times for cookouts. I remember Frankie and his family. He is burried in the same place my dad is and when I visit I make a point to visit his site also. Have you had any other responses from Aprile's?

My name is Dina Jelley, my mom is Catherine T. Jelley. Her maiden name is Catherine (Dolly) Aprille. I know we spell our name differently, but I wanted to check it out anyway. My mother's mother is Luccia Aprille married to Vido Aprille. My mothers sisters are Rosalie, Lucy and her brothers are Joey and Frankie is dead. They all grew up in Hyde Park, Jamica Plain or Roslindale area. Please email me if I have the right family. thank you Dina
