My grandfather was a Henry Arblaster who was in married in Rochdale to Mary Ann Mariott (born Rochdale). He was a stonemason until his early death aged 44 c.1927. He is buried in Rochdale. They had a daughter Elsie, and also, amonst others my mother, Mary.
As far as I know they were the only Arblaster family living in Rochdale after the rest of the family emigrated to the Boston area of the USA.

John Henry ARBLASTER married Gertrude COCKS in Pontefract, W Yorks, in 2nd Qtr of 1908.

DId he later move to Rochdale, Lancs ?

What was his occupation ? Was he a stone mason ?

Did he have a daughter Elsie ?
