Michael Arbogast didn't serve under "Peter Hull" in 1770. Peter Hull was not given a captainship until and on June 20, 1781. According to the county book their captain was John McCoy who surrendered his captainship to the honorable Thomas Jefferson gov. of Virginia March 26, 1781. I haven't actually found the "calvary" part of your statement.
I have only found that they were a regiment of foot soldiers. Most of their service, Michael and his sons was in and around Augusta County.
I you have any documentation for the other information that is in your "Arbogast" information I would love to read it.
Adam Arbogast, Michael's son, was drafted into service, got out and volunteered than. He was an Indian Hunter. So, it follows that if they were all in Hull's regiment in 1781 then, they spent their last days in the regiment at Crabbottom..that is on the DAR site under Michael.
Thanks for any info.
Brenda
