Am looking for information for the family of Samuel C. Arbuckle Sr., married to Sarah Hughes. Both born PA. Had 8 children: Ann, Samuel C., Jr., Benjamin F., Francis Marion, George, William Henry, Alford Jefferson. The oldest born in PA, the youngest in OH.

Samuel Sr., Samuel Jr., Francis, George, William and Alford all came to Minnesota and most settled in the St. Paul area. Benjamin F. came to St. Paul as well, but died in Memphis during the the Civil War. It is possible that Thomas was the only sibling who stayed behind. He was born about 1840.

Samuel Sr. was born in PA in 1816 and died in St. Paul in 1892. His wife Sarah Hughes was born in PA in 1812 and died in St. Paul in 1878. Their son Francis Marion (1844-1916) was my g-grandfather.

We have very little on the parents of Samuel Sr. According to what we have, his name was William Arbuckle Sr., and was most likely born in PA and died in Mercer Co, PA. His wife was named Isabel. They had at least three sons: Samuel C. Sr., Joseph and William.

I am looking for more information about all branches of this family. I have completed some cemetery visiting here in St. Paul and have most of the older St. Paul Arbuckles accounted for and have pictures of the graves. Would love to make a connection with someone about this family.
