My great-grandmother's name was Maria Soccorro Arseo Marrufo Solis. I can only assume that her mother's maiden name was Arseo. Her father was named Alejando Marrufo. She married Alonzo Chauvet Solis.

She is my paternal grandfather's mother and he was born in the Yucatan. I believe she had 4 sons: Luis (my grandfather), Carlos, Ruben and Juan (Juan is not confirmed. My grandfather's memory is very fuzzy).

If anyone has information on her or her parents, I would love to hear it.

Looking for descendants of Petronilo Arceo of Zamora Michoacan Mexico. He had at least 2 wives possibly 3. One of them was the mother of my grandfather who married Virginia Gil when she was 13. They had 7 children, 3 boys,and 4 girls.

Lisa, the siblings to your grandfather, my uncle Ralph were Luis, Mercedes, Elena, Maria, Josefina, and Ignacio. Josefina is the only surviving. She lives in Zamora Michoacan Mexico. She is 90 years old this year hope it helps.

Hello There my name is Juan Alfredo Arceo i am the grandson of Alfredo Arceo and my father is Alejandro Arceo my grandfather Alfredo did have a brother by the name of Rudy whom if i am correct lived in Kansas with his other brother Javier. My grandpa said i had a cuzin in LA by the name of Rudy whom he has recently given my phone number. If this is you I would love to meet you guys one of these days if it is you you also have alot of aunts uncles and cuzins living in San Antonio recently moved from California. Alot of out family comes from Guadlajara and a small town just a couple of hours from Guadlajara. Yuor husband also has a step brother and sister Martin and Eva Arceo if i am correct,My grandpa Alfredo lives in East LA California. If you are still looking for some of the Arceo family I have some info. on Pedro Arceo. My mother gave birth to a daughter by Pedro Arceo in 1944.

To all Arceo searchers, My mother's maiden name is Arceo from Sahuayo, Mich - Mexico. My beloved - recently deceased grandfather was Manuel Arceo Galvez son of Santiago Arceo and Ma.Chica Galvez (both deceased). Born and raised in Sahuayo then lived in Santa Ana, California.

I found this while helping my husband research his family. His uncle's name is Alfredo Arceo. He lost touch with him and lost his number and is trying to reconnect. My husbands name is Rodolfo I. Arceo (he goes by Rudy) and his dad's name was Rodolfo Udave Arceo. They were from California. Might you be the same Alfredo? Hi I am married to an Arceo. My husbands name is Rodolfo Ivan Arceo (Rudy). We live in New Orleans LA at the moment but he is from California (San Fernando Valley). His father was Rodolfo Udave Arceo. Rodolfo Udave Arceo passed away about 25 years ago when my husband was just a young boy. My husbands father had come to California from Jalisco, Mexico. We are trying to find his relatives and find out some of his ancestory. If anyone knows anything that can help I would appreciate it if you could email me! He is also looking for his dad's brother Alfredo Arceo who is still living and lives somewhere in California, any information on him would also be appreciated!

My name is Lisa Arceo I am from flint michigan. My grandfather Rafeal Gil Arceo was born in Zamora mexico, he was raised in Michoacan and moved here to find work when he was 18. He married Fermina Martinez in 1928 here in Michigan. I'm the youngest of 13 grandchildren and I know little about my past.Let me know.

hi, i am an arceo from jalisco mexico, raised in colima mexico
as far as i know from my family we came from italy. 4 brothers one of which is the father of santiago arceo disembarked in tampico mexico. they seperated to veladora jalisco and veracruz from them the arceo name has lived on what i need to find out is who the four brothers were that left italy to tampico. it would be my greatgrandfather and his three brothers.

dude!!! i'm an arceo too, all i can tell you from what my pops told me is that my deceased grapms name was ruben arceo he was merriad to my grandma herminda i think was her name and they recided near jalisco maybe if you know more you can e-mail me, i also know that they owned a ranch and then after my grandparents dies my pops moved over to tj like in the early 70's or something like that.

Well, here it goes!. My Grand Father Ramiro Contreras, was born in Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. He and his family recided in a place called Santa Rosa de Lima.
When He died his belongings could not be claimed because when looking for his birth certificate it appeared to be one of the Arceos instead of the Contreras as we all carry the last name.
We found that his family owned land and slaves and that came from Spain. During the Mexican war his father whas killed and his mother hid wiht her othter kids adopting the Contreras last name.
