I am looking for information about a large cluster of Archambeault/Archambaults who moved to Gardner, MA from St. Jean, Quebec Canada in the early 1900's. I have info about first names such as Leon, Leo, Joseph, Nepoleon, Eva, Rose Anna, Desire, etc. Hoping to be able to connect with others researching this tree. Thanks.

I am looking for info on my great great grandfather. According to a census in 1900 for his widow (Carrie Perry) and daughters (Edith and Clara) in Canton, CT, he was born in Vermont. He died in 1898 in Canton, CT. I cannot find any birth info for him. I would like to find out who his parents and siblings (if any) were. His parents were most likely born in Canada. Thank you for the response. That info is very helpful. If you have anything else Pierre And Marie's descendants I would be interested in it. Accoring to my family tree, Marie is my 4th great-grand aunt so any of her descendants would be cousins of mine. If you are related to Pierre and Marie, we are probably cousins also. Oh ,by the way, the English in your response was accually very good. I didn't notice any mistakes at all.

Pierre Amable ARCHAMBAULT who married Marie Anne AMIRAULT on 14 oct. 1816 at L'Assomption, QC, Canada.

They have at least two sons, Jean Louis born on 26 aug. 1824 and Jacques born on 28 nov. 1826 at Montcalm, QC, Canada, he married with Mary DELAUNOIS on 5 march 1863 at San Juan, WA, USA (they have at least 15 chidren), he died on 15 july 1901 at San Juan, WA, USA.

Name might be slightly spelt wrong but you mentioned a Eugene from Mass. I am just starting this and my great grandfather was Eugene Archambault. I don't know exactly where he was born but my grandmother still lives in RI. Thought it may be close enough that the Eugene you mentioned could be my great grandfather. He marrieda Katherine Teresa Conners. Do you know if Eugene had a daughter?

I would appreciate any info, helping my daughter with a school project, and getting very interested myself.

John Archambeault was born in Canada (we think) sometime in the mid-1800's. He married Mary Burnache. They settled in Leeds, Mass. They had 3 children Napolean Paul, Eugene Joseph, and Zelma?. Majority of the family with varied spellings, Archambeault, Archambeau, even Shambo are decendants of Jacques Archambault of Montreal Canada. Have you been in contact with Pierre Archambault there?Try web address of www.archambaultdamerique.com. He is the archivist for the family. Very neat!

my great grandfather was Wilfred Archambeault. He had a son named Philip, who had 4 sisters, Lillian, Agnes, Caroline and my grandmother Edith. He was married to Edith Caroline Hartin who was born in October of 1896 in Pa. According to my records, (I could be mistaken) he was born in 1896 and died in 1975. I did not know Armand. However, I would guess we are related due to the spelling of the last names. My father had several cousins but did not spend time visiting. My family was:

He was from a large family of 17 children and one of his brother's names was Lucien. He may have been born in Wisconsin or Illinois. I have been told that his parents names may have been Almeda Archambeault and Rachel or Julie Loveless. Victor had four children, and none of them remember anything!

Just read you're post from 2001. My greatgreatgrandfather was Pierre Archambeault. He was married to Marceline (Boucha)Archambeault. His son John was my greatgrandfather.Born in Cooks mi 24 Oct 1896. His son Peter was my grandfather. His eldest daughter Marie is my mother. She is 84 now but is still sharp and is a weath of knowledge on the Archambeault clan up in this neck of the woods. Today my Aunt asked me to try to locate information regarding her Mother and her parents.... Her Mother was Rose Monihan and she was the daughter of John Monihan and ???? Archambealt ( I think she has this spelt wrong) Rose was born in 1908 and I find her no where in either the census or burial in Mass or New Ham. Rose Monihan Married William Boudreau and my Aunt Janet is one of their children........
This name is new to me, but her birthday is coming and it might be a nice gift if I can find Grama and Grampa Archambealt and Grampa and Grma Monihan for her.....

Could you give me an idea of where this Archambault lady was from? My Archambault ancestors came from France to Montreal, Canada> Lyon Mt, NY>Moffitsville NY. Ask your aunt what your Grandma's first name may have been also. I'll check my records to see if there is any Monihans. I'll let you know.
