Peter Arendt was born in about 1836 in Germany and migrated to the US in 1850 according to the 1900 Census and apparently settled in Illinois. He married Victoria Wolf who was born about 1842 in Bloom, Cook, Illinois, about 1863-64 in Illinois. Their oldest son, John, was born in 1865 in Illinois. By 1870 they were living in Osseo, Hennepin, Minnesota and had two more sons, Peter age 3 and Frank age 3 mos. By the 1880 Census they were living in Culdrum (Near Little Falls), Morrison, Minnesota and had 4 more children, Mathilda age 7, Louise age 5, William age 3 and Jeanetta age 6mos.

Victoria must have died between 1885 and 1895 since she is listed in the 1885 Minnesota Census but not in the 1895 Minnesota Census. Peter must have died between 1900 and 1905 since he is listed in the 1900 US Census but not the 1905 Minnesota Census. The assumption is that they died in Morrison county near Little Falls. I am able to follow some of their children through the 1930 US Census still living in the Little Falls, Morrison, Minnesota area.

Victoria was my great grand aunt and I would be interested in any additional information on her and on her husband, Peter Arendt, and his family.
