Betty Trotter has just completed The Arheit Family In America and I have received two copies of it from her. A wonderful piece of work and it includes the family of Robert Arheit.

Alexis is the daughter of Robert Arheit who is the son of Arthur Arheit who is one of my mother's older brothers. You can find both my and Betty Trotter's postings about the family on rootsweb.com/~oherie/erie.htm. Betty has a very extensive study of the Arheit family.

I am related (by marriage) to Robert Arheit married to Elizibeth Huber whose daughter, Alexis Arheit married my father David N. Clyde, Sr.

I am very interested in tracing the Arheit/Huber tree back to Germany.

I have met some of the Arheit clan in Blonkenlock, Germany. Reinhard Nagle is his name and he is a master carpenter.

There are several researches of the Arheit family name. Over 200 names already registered along with extensive history. Original migration of our line was from Baden Germany area settling in Sandusky, OH (1880).
