Hi to Axem and Betty.

I noticed your messages about the Arington family. My mother's maiden name is Arington and I have extensive information about the Aringtons in Ballard County, Kentucky, who came from Obion County, Tennessee and before that from North Carolina.
Wiley Jackson was born in North Carolina about 1800 or 1801. You can find him in the 1850 Cencus living in Carrol County, Tennessee. His wife was Marjary and they had 10 children: Clary J., age 25; Sarah R, age 20; Mary, age 18, Benjamin Franklin, age 16; Wiley Jackson, b. 16 July 1837 (My ancestor, who moved to Ballard Co., KY about 1869 and had a son, Axsom A., born May 14, 1862, d. 16 Sep 1923. Married to Lucy Price); Ellin, age 12; Martha, age 10; Roxa A, age 8; Acksom P., age 6; and Eli W., age 2. All were listed as being born in North Carolina

Ruth Arington - Missouri

Hi! Looking for Ruth Arington of Kansas City, Missouri. The 1930 census shows her as 3-year old 'roomer' living with John McBurney and Anna McBurney. The 6-year old boy in the house, John Dougal McBurney, was my grandpa. He was adopted, and maybe that's why Ruth was in the house, too. Thanks!

I am trying to find information on my father's side of the family. His name was Claude Lanier Arington III. He was born 5/27/1919 in Worcester, MA. He had at least 2 sisters (Frances and Beatrice). His father's name was also Claude Lanier Arington and his mother was Beatrice Caron (she died 5/10/44). I know my father had a first cousin in Florida named Harry Arrington. My father rarely spoke of his relatives or ancestors so I am starting from scratch. I believe there is some background in Canada. Any information at all will be greatly appreciated.
