Sorry Glenn I have since found out that I am not related to the Arkills. I was searching for Moses Arkills wife's maiden name and I was given that and it turned out not to be who I thought it might be. Good luck on your search.

i know alot of the arkills family my grandmother goldie bell arkills mott,
her father was williard arkills a doctor in fredricksburg iowa'
my grandmother was laurreta king arkills
williard is buried in the old cemtery in fredricksburg iowa
williard in his 30;s
williard father was moses arkills his wife rachel ann bartlett.
they were married in an etten new york in 1852
rachel was born july 2 1830 in cayuga new yourk
died april 11 1904'
moses e arkills was born jan 2, 1826 in orange county new york died in rudd county iowa nov 26 1896
moses was a doctor and a minisiter,

they had six children williard jenne . harriet, sarah alice and lula.

Moses Arkills

Am looking for wife of Moses Arkills, b in NY. In 1860 was in Tompkins County, NY with Rachel, wife and family. I believe Rachel maybe be a Walworth. They remove to Iowa in 1870 and died thier. Have some additional information and willing to share.
Moses b. 7Jan 1826, d 26 Nov 1896
Rachel b 23 Jul 1830, d 11 Apr 1904.

Seth Arkills

I am writing the history of the Gila Valley Globe & Northern Railroad. Its chief operating engineer was Seth Arkills (he worked for the railroad from 1895 until 1935). If you have any information about him or his relatives I would appreciate hearing from you.
