I am the great granddaughter of William and Lucy Armstead. William Armstead was born about 1860 in South Carolina and his wife Lucy(who last name may have been Jackon)was born about 1875 in Virginia. I am not sure when they married however out of this union was 8 children. Willie Ann, Leroy, Jeanetta, Mary, Martha, James(my grandfather), Andrew, and Moses Armstead.
