Was lucky enough to find naturalization papers for our ancestor Richard Armstrong who lived in Tippecanoe Co, Indiana (USA) during the 1860 and 1870 census.
Filed on Oct. 5, 1860 in Tippecanoe Co.; it states that Richard Armstrong age 29 from County of Tyrone, Ireland immigrated from Glascow, Scotland and arrived in New York, NY on July 30, 1858.
Richard married Nancy Montgomery on Aug. 30, 1853 in Ireland. Known children are: William, Robert, Hugh, Eliza (m. Charles Fisher), Margaret "Maggie", and Mary (one of these daughters m. Ora Hudson). They were living in Benton Co, Indiana (USA) by 1880 census.
