I've dug through so many records and spent so much time in libraries trying to find something, and over the last few years have never had any success at all or found any other person who could help... this is the very information I've been looking for, and this definitely sounds like the right family, I can't thank you enough for this help! I'll definitely check my library for the book too... I've tried looking at different Arnold connections, thinking there might be more on Arnall families if I researched Arnolds, but all the books I had checked so far didn't appear to be linked to our family. I knew William Henry Arnall came from VA, but I never could link him to any other family there although there is another Arnall family up there at the right time period in Hanover VA who I suspect is related in some shape or form but I have no evidence to justify that suspicion.
