I don't know about that particular branch of the Arndt family tree. I do know that my Grandfather, Albert Arndt, originally from southern Illinois and later from Detroit, was one of 10-12 children. The family of William (and Hannah I think) Arndt. Albert, known for his lousy temperment, was estranged from his siblings. As such, his children (Judy and my father James) and his grandchildren are not acquainted with the rest of our rather large clan.
