Mrs. Arndt, 92, Called in Death Funeral Sunday
Mrs. Amelia Arndt, 92, a native of Switzerland, died at 10 p. m. Thursday at the Lutheran homes after a short illness attributed to the complications of advanced age. Mrs. Arndt, who 'formerly lived at Mendota, IL, had been a resident of the homes here for the past 12 years and 10 months. Born, Aug. 29, 1848,-in Switzerland, she was
twice married, first to William Snyder on Dec. 15, 1870; and then to Hy Arndt on Nov. 17, 1910. She lived in Pennsylvania with her first husband, after coming to Illinois. Both husbands preceded her in death. She
was the daughter of Michael and Anna Metier Gunder.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Sunday at the Lutheran Homes with the Rev. William Klein officiating,
Burial will be in theLutheran Home Cemetery.
