I am Michael Hackler the grandson of Karl Arneson of Norway and Anna Emila Berg of Sweden.
Karl and Anna immigrated to the United States around 1910. The Arnesons lived in Terry, South Dakota where he worked for the Homestake Goldmine Company. Karl's sister Emma immigrated to America in 1910 meeting and marrying Oscar Nelson. They lived their whole lives as farmers in the Nemo, South Dakota area. Karl and Anna had four children Art, Einer, Charles, and Olga(my mother). Karl and Emma parents names were Arne Arneson and Karen Christiansen of Norway. Karl and Anna are buried in Lead, South Dakota. If anyone knows anyone who is related to this family or anything else about its history please let me know.
