i am a descendant of Thomas Lewis Arnett and his second wife, Angelina Hughes, who he married after his first wife's death. I didn't know his first wife's name was Jane Thomas. But I believe they only had 4 children,Lewis R.,Edith, Kate and Alice, all born in England. They all lived with Angelina and Lewis but when he died in 1891 only Edith stayed with Angelina (in Brandon, Manitoba).Edith married John Ross of Medicine Hat and they had a son, Arnett Ross. Lewis R., who managed his father's store in Winnipeg until it failed returned to Ontario i believe sometime after his father died. Meanwhile, Lewis (father) and Angelina had 6 children.
