Please let me refer you to...

And add, There is a John Arnett line from
SC, and two or three more from NC depending on
the dates you look at in other NC counties.
If you find anything let me know.

Then, there is a William Arnett married to a Sarah
Glaze 1804 in Wilkes County, GA... I can help with
that line. Then there is another William born 1803, and
I might be able to help there.

My most distant ancestor was a William Arnet
of PA? born 1721-1737 that had a son William
and they were in SC in 1774/75. The son William
went to Screven Co, GA with a brother John Arnet.
This John was born 1760 and is the patriot you
will run across in GA records. Alex Mathews
Arnett's lineage - is related to mine by Captain
Peter Arnett of Anson County,NC. William, John,
Peter, and a David Arnett were brothers.

I recently found a website about Captain Kidd,
the pirate, that listed a William Arnett as a hand
on his ship.
