From what has been learned about Jacob Arney (circa 1729-1782), he was "possibly" from Switzerland.
His first wife, was Anna Ursula Kron, who may have died between 1761-1767. Jacob Arney's second wife, Elizabeth (maiden name/surname, unconfirmed), was the name of his wife, at the time of the writing of his Will, in 1782.

Sounds like, Johann Heinrich "Henry" Arney, Sr. and his wife, died pretty close together, he died in September 1830.
